COURS PRINTEMPS / SPRING CLASSES
Our classes and workshops are designed with learning and enjoyment in mind. We have a minimum of (4) and maximum of (6) places available in each class.
Registration for a class is guaranteed after receipt of full payment. Full refunds are made up to (7) days prior to commencement of 1st class. Classes will be rescheduled due to a teacher's illness or weather conditions. If a student misses a class it can NOT be made up.
Purchases are subject to a 10% discount while attending classes. Please bring to all courses your usual tools: scissors, tape measure, darning needles, etc.

LEARN TO KNIT $60.00 (Book included)
This class is for the novice knitter. We will teach you how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off. Knit a scarf and hand warmers for your 1st projects. Bring 4.5 mm needles and 1 ball of worsted weight yarn (not too dark).

INITIATION AU TRICOT 60,00 $ (livre inclus)
Ce cours s’adresse aux débutantes. Apprenez la base du tricot : le montage des mailles, la maille endroit et envers, comment rabattre les mailles. Comme premier projet, vous réaliserez une écharpe et des chauffe-poignets. Fournitures : des aiguilles 4.5 mm et 1 pelote de fil “worsted” de couleur claire.

LEARN TO CROCHET $60.00 (Book included)
We will teach the basics of crochet – chain, slip stitch, single, double and treble crochet. The project will be Granny Squares. Bring light-colored worsted weight yarn and a 4.5 mm crochet hook to first class.

Apprenez la base du crochet : la maille en l’air, la maille coulée, la maille serrée, la bride et la double bride.Vous apprendrez également la technique pour réaliser un carré granny. Fournitures : il vous faudra une pelote de fil moyen (“worsted”) de couleur claire et un crochet 4.5 mm.

LEVEL 1 KNITTING $130.00 (Pattern included)
Prerequisite: knowledge of cast on, knit and purl. Knit a small sweater while you learn techniques of casting on, increasing, decreasing, ribbing and finishing. A pair of 4.5 mm needles and a ball of worsted weight yarn are required for the first class.

TRICOT NIVEAU 1 130,00 $ (patron inclus)
Pré-requis : connaissance de la base du tricot (monter et rabattre les mailles, la maille endroit et envers). Tricotez un chandail pour enfant tout en apprenant les techniques suivantes : le montage des mailles, les augmentations et diminutions, les côtes, et l’assemblage d’un tricot. Fournitures : pour le premier cours, il vous faudra des aiguilles 4.5 mm et une pelote de fil moyen (“worsted”) de couleur claire.

SOCKS ON DOUBLE-POINTED NEEDLES $80.00 (Pattern included)
Basic knitting skills are required. Everyone loves hand knit socks. Learn everything you need to know to knit basic socks, knitting in the round using dp needles, turning the heel, shaping the gusset and toe, as well as grafting the toe. Bring 3.75 mm or 4 mm dp needles and 2 – 100 g balls

Learn new crochet techniques while making a cute amigurumi. This class is for students who have taken the “Learn to Crochet” class or for those who are experienced in crochet.

MAGIC LOOP SOCKS $55.00 (pattern not included)
Learn to knit socks using the magic loop technique on a circular knitting neecdle. Prerequisite: must know how to knit socks.

This is not a beginner class. Students must have taken the Level 1 knitting class or have the equivalent skills. How to read charts, charting a lace pattern and blocking lace with blocking wires will be some of the techniques taught. Use of a lifeline, counting tricks, and pattern management will also be discussed. The pattern that is being used is Classic Elite's Sunburst Shawl. If you wish to do another lace shawl/scarf pattern please discuss it with the teacher before registering.
